So what is "locked in" and why is everyone using this phrase? According to WikiHow, "locked in" is a slang expression that means someone is 100% focused on and committed to something, from a personal goal to a romantic relationship.
We live in an over stimulated world! Music, Videos, Social Media, Instagram, TikTok, Pornography, Movies all a few clicks away. Get rid of them all! Don't listen to music when you work, put your phone in another room, get rid of the radio in your car, destroy your TV and never pay the BBC license fee. Delete all social media apps, block everything and anything that is not work related. To focus, one must first remove all distractions. Then take care of your body & mind.
You must stay focused on the goal you have in mind. That and that only nothing else in this world matters. NOTHING FUCKING MATTERS. Train your mind to filter out the bad emotions, the procrastinations, the distractions, build up a wall that shields you from the outside world.
I hate the phrase "work smarter, not harder" because it's a load of shit. When you are trying to do something hard, you will not know the optimal path to get there. Therefore the more time you spend and the more energy you exert, the more likely you are to find the path to success. Think about it like how much compute & data you put in a ML model. The more data & compute (time & effort) you put in, the better the model will be. Same goes for your goals. The ultimate goal is to be obsessed with what you do and want to achieve. A state of obsession is a state of being locked in. If you can't achieve obsession, you must instill discipline.
That's it. You are now locked in. You're welcome
