Soooo it's been a while

I'm onto something I think started a new project OpenCharacter.org doing quite well started marketing it ~1 month ago and got 2.4K signups, 100 DAUs and 3 paying users I think this could scale quite well, although the challenge I have faced is it has elements of NSFW so its hard to find a payment provider. Will figure this out though.

I think right now I have a good product, but not great. I would like to make it great first and then scale marketing afterwards. Still need to do a lot of outbound sales stuff and try to get big customers though, right now I'm literally getting teenagers to DM me on Discord to get a $12 a month subscription. Need to set up a self serve thing immediately or my conversion is going to stay at 0.125%. Ideally I should be at ~10-20 customers right now so conversion is not good enough!

This is a scalable business though just need to go from good to great product and put in a self serve and do a marketing blitz and we're good. I've got the LLM combination to a reasonable level now. Spending below $3 per day to serve ~100 DAUs soon I'll be profitable and at that point and only at that point do I feel comfortable going all out on marketing and scaling this thing x10, x100 the size it's right now.

Also spent the last two weeks talking to 2 investors from Z Fellow to Dorm Room Fund. Hopefully I become a Z Fellow, I really like the community aspect of it. Dorm Room Fund, had positive feedback but said I needed a lot better analytics. Which I agree with. They did say to hit them up in 1-2 months to see progress though so all is not lost.

Plan for next few weeks is to really get into a good habit and stay consistent. Right now I'm doing 'okay' with development, but marketing side is shit. Need to spend 50 50 on both right now spending like 90 10.
